We take a longer-term view towards the markets and the opportunities arising therein. We tend to do our own analysis, relying less on sell side research and more on our long experience and contact base with the markets that dates back to 1985. In 2009 Montpelier Asset Management has hired a team of Non Performing Assets specialists from Lehman Brothers to strengthen its Distressed Asset Team.
